For the Lori region of RA the 2012 agricultural year was quite successful compared with the previous years, said the head of the regional department of agriculture and environmental protection Grigor Hakobyan. Speaking of the number of registered successes, he said: "Last year compared with this year was collected by 220 tons more harvest of potatoe (in 2012 – 3677tons, in 2011 - 3457 tons) ", by 1049 tons more cabbage, grapes - more than 37 tons.
According to the department, there was not any problem with the harvesting as well, ones procured earlier, while the others stored in order to sell by a higher price in spring.
